Daily Prompt From Writer’s Write

30 Apr

Writers Write blog posted a daily prompt, “What would you find in your protagonist’s medicine cabinet?” I also reblogged it in case you want to take part in it too.

In my protagonist’s ( who is a female vampire ) medicine cabinet we would find very little, close to nothing in fact. She doesn’t have a bathroom because vampires ERM do not need to use a toilet or shower. Well, at least my vampires don’t anyway.

But let’s just say she does have a bathroom. Firstly, there wouldn’t be a mirror on the medicine cabinet due to the fact that she cannot see her reflection. We may find some nail polish in there, she loves painting her nails. When she grew tired of the color of nail polish on her nails she would have nail polish remover in her medicine cabinet. She would also have a glass jar filled with cotton balls so she could use them to remove her nail polish.

Vampires do get certain diseases so she would have medicines and tonics in her medicine cabinet just in case she were to get sick. Little jars full of different kinds of medicinal herbs would line one of the shelves.

That is about all that can be found in her mirrorless medicine cabinet. Obviously if she was a mortal there would be more :).
